Follow this link for my video walkthrough.

Move toward the pedestal to take THE KEY OF SNAKES. Doing so unlocks the Key of Snakes achievement/trophy.

After the pedestal retracts into the floor, continue forward until you reach the wall with the 3 niches.

Swipe toward it to place the KEY OF SNAKES in its proper receptacle.

This retracts one of the bars on the triple-locked gate and also opens a smaller door to the left. Go through to start the next chapter.
