Follow this link for my video walkthrough.

Smash the vase off to the left side of the path to obtain an EMERALD (1/19). Then go forward through the lighted doorway to the next room.

There's a snake blocking the path ahead. Enemies like this can kill Lara if you are not careful. Since the game is turn-based, the angle of approach is crucial. Notice how the snake is oriented, facing away from Lara. As long as you approach from behind, you'll be safe. Swipe to move toward the snake and Lara will automatically shoot it clearing the path.

Move to the end of the walkway and swipe down to hang from the edge. Since the snake below is facing right, so its side is toward Lara, dropping down next to it will allow Lara to safely kill it.

There are 2 more snakes ahead. Do not approach the one on the left. Since it's facing Lara, it will kill her if she gets too close. Instead, approach the one on the right from behind and Lara will kill it when she gets close enough.

Smash the vase on the jutting ledge to the right to get another EMERALD (2/19). You can ignore the second snake or approach it from behind it to kill it.

Then climb up the wall to grab onto the ledge above. Traverse along the ledge to the right and pull up next to another snake. (Do not go to the left or you'll end up facing the other snake, and it will kill you.)

Move forward. Approaching the snake from the side, rather than the front, causes Lara to shoot it automatically. You can then move alongside the other snake to kill it, or simply avoid it and go through the lighted doorway ahead.

When you enter the next room the doorway collapses behind you. (If you missed any items in the previous areas, you can always replay this level later.) Climb up the wall onto a ledge with 8 snakes.

Remember, Lara will kill any snake she approaches from the side or from behind, but if doing so takes her into the path of another snake that's facing her, it will kill her. So start by stepping forward then left to kill one of the snakes.

Move left again then kill the snake in the lower corner followed by the one to the upper left. (You could also ignore the one in the corner since it's not in your way.)

Do not approach the lever yet, or the snake to the right of it will strike. Instead move to the right, then to the upper left to kill the snake near the lever.

Then climb the wall and kick the lever to slide the dark section of floor to the left.

Drop down and move to the right to kill the nearest snake.

Then climb up and use the lever again to slide the floor back to its original position.

Drop down and move around to the side or back of the nearest of the 3 remaining snakes to kill it.

Now your path is clear to climb the wall to the ledge above. Just ignore the last 2 snakes. Before moving onto the glowing diamond to finish the level, be sure to smash the vase on the left to recover a fragment of THE TWIN SNAKES relic (1/10).
