Temple of Xian - Secret #2 (Silver Dragon)
In the last section, you used the switch above the TEMPLE ENTRANCE to open this trapdoor. Climb the ladder to reach it.
Kill a spider (6) in the passage above.
NOTE: There is a spider-killing achievement/trophy later in the game. See the main walkthrough for details.
Continue to a ledge overlooking a room with a large wooden pillar in the center and lava below.
Turn around, hang from the edge. and climb down the ladder as far as Lara will go.
She should be hanging with her hands on the bottom rung. Then drop and grab the ledge below.
The ladder continues, and you can see the Silver Dragon below, but it's too far to fall and grab. Instead, traverse to the left along the ledge. (If Lara's feet come up onto the ladder, you'll first need to pull up, move to the left, and then drop and hang where there are no rungs.)
The ledge soon narrows to a small crevice. Keep going.
Where the crevice widens again, pull up onto the ledge and walk around the corner to the left.
Climb down the next ladder as far as you can. Again, drop and grab the ledge below.
Pull up and walk around the corner to the right.
Hang from the edge, traverse to the right, and pull up into the alcove with SECRET #2, the Silver Dragon (4).
Hang from the ledge once more and traverse back to the left until you can pull up.
Follow the ledge around the corner.
Move toward the end of the ledge, roll, and shoot another spider (7) that skitters out of the narrow crevice.
Then take a standing jump across the lava to grab the ladder on the stone pillar.
Climb to the top. Climb another shorter ladder.
Then follow the passageway to a room with ladders and spikes below.
