This guide focuses on revisiting the level after completing it. If you are playing through for the first time, you may want to follow the main walkthrough instead to avoid possible spoilers. Documents, relics, and other collectibles are covered in the main Peruvian Jungle Collectibles section.
Flower Picker · Ruffled Feathers
The goal is to collect 5 of the blue-flowered plants from the forest canopy. They are noted in red type in the main walkthrough, pictured in the separate challenge guide, and marked with blue dots on the annotated level map. You don't need to find them in any particular order, but if you missed any of them the first time through, here's how to find them. (Note that once you unlock the Seeker skill Owl's Wisdom, Challenge objects will glow when you activate Survival Instinct, making them much easier to spot.)
PLANT 1
This challenge is introduced in the area around the Plane Wreckage Base Camp, near the start of the level, and you can complete it in that area. You'll probably find the first plant by accident as you're climbing the tree to reach the rock outcropping where one of the ropes holding up Lara's gear is anchored. Scramble up the tree and press Interact to pick the flowers. (Click screenshot to enlarge.)
PLANT 2
There's another plant in the tree at the south end of this area that you climb in order to reach the high ledge with relic #3. (Click screenshot to enlarge.)
PLANT 3
The next plant is just north of the previous one. If you turn around while perched in the tree shown in the previous screenshot, so Lara faces north, you can then swing and jump from tree to tree to reach this one. (Click screenshot to enlarge.)
PLANT 4
This one is sitting in a tree about halfway along the west side of the pool. It's easy to spot if Lara is standing near the crates where she found her equipment, but in order to reach it, you'll need to start from the tree with plant #2, above, and swing through the trees to reach #3, then #4. (Click screenshot to enlarge.)
PLANT 5
The next plant is just north of the capybara icon on the in-game map. If you start on the rock outcrop with the wooden slats, you can walk up the fallen tree and jump onto the branch with the plant. (Click screenshot to enlarge.)
Again, there's no set order for completing this challenge. You just need to shoot down 4 dangling orpendola nests. If you have the Owl's Wisdom skill, they'll glow in Survival Instinct. They're also noted in red type in the main walkthrough, pictured in the separate challenge guide, and marked with yellow dots on the annotated level map.
NEST 1
This challenge is introduced in the area around the Plane Wreckage Base Camp. One of the bird's nests is just southeast of the boxes where where Lara finds her gear near the beginning of the level. (Click screenshot to enlarge.)
NEST 2
If you stand on the spot where the first nest fell and look to the northeast, you'll spot another nest. It's hanging near the craggy wall that requires climbing axes. (Click screenshot to enlarge.)
NEST 3
There's another nest dangling above the muddy path that runs along the northeast side of the area, leading back toward the base camp. (Click screenshot to enlarge.)
NEST 4
There's another nest dangling above the gorge on the west side of this area, just beyond the rope-wrapped post you'll use to cross the ravine. If you've found the previous three, shooting this one will complete the challenge. (Click screenshot to enlarge.)
NEST 5
In case you miss any of the first four nests, there are two more on the west side of the ravine, on the path to the first jaguar encounter. In the area where Lara has to walk through shin-deep mud, look for the fifth nest hanging above and to the right. (Click screenshot to enlarge.)
NEST 6
A little farther along the same path, just beyond the muddy area, where the path slopes upward, you'll spot the last nest is dangling above. If you've already completed the challenge, you won't need to shoot it, but it's handy if you missed any of the others. (Click screenshot to enlarge.)
