NOTE: I want you to be able to see what's going on, so I tend to increase the brightness and use more flares than you'll probably need. For tips on conserving flares, see the note in the main walkthrough.

After clearing out the enemies and hazards, as shown in the last section, you can explore this area in peace. Go through either stone doorway and turn left...

...to find a box of shotgun ammo (12).

Return to the area where the 2 snowballs landed and pick up some flares (13).

Approach the snowball on the right. Then turn left and you'll spot more shotgun ammo (14) near the end of the tunnel.

Turn around and follow this wide tunnel straight ahead, past the snowball and into the ice-walled area where the first snowball originated.

When you can't go any farther, turn left and follow the rocky tunnel to another box of shotgun shells (15).

You should now have everything. Return to the area where the 2 snowballs landed...

...and start up the hill.

The pit ahead isn't deep; you can jump across or go around it on the left side.

Beyond the pit, keep left as you continue toward the top. Quickly move past the snowy alcove on the left to avoid 2 clusters of snowballs rolling in from ahead and from the right.

At the top of the slope are more shotgun shells (16).

Turn around, come back down the slope a bit, and then turn left into the doorway where the snowballs came from.

Dramatic music plays, but the drama happens in the room above, so no need to panic. Climb the ice ladder to the top.

DARK MODE: I plan to add optional dark mode for these pages, but my current priority is updating the walkthroughs. Meanwhile, may I suggest a reputable dark mode browser extension, such as Dark Reader? (Download only from trusted sites, like darkreader.org or your browser's official add-on/extension site.)
