NOTE: To unlock this achievement/trophy, you must avoid going into the water before retrieving your guns from inside the parked SEAPLANE. If you don't care about achievements/trophies, or already have this one, there's an alternate route for this section in the archived classic guide.

After escaping from the room with the movable crates, as shown in the first section, Lara emerges near the pool where the SEAPLANE is parked. An alarm sounds, alerting 2 rig workers (1-2, below).

Turn left and run forward into the next room.

Either avoid the ramp ahead on the right, or run up it a few steps to trip a rolling barrel trap, then run off the edge and continue forward.

Run/jump past the 2 enemies toward the far end of the room.

Turn right and run/jump up the stairs.

At the top of the stairs, turn right and run up against the rightmost window, near the CCTV monitor.

Make sure Lara is touching the window then roll...

...and she should end up on the other side of it.

Roll again (or turn around) and run off the edge.
- OR -

Alternatively, if gamer's guilt prevents you from taking advantage of this useful glitch, instead, wait near the window for the enemies to approach.

When the gunman shoots at Lara, it should shatter the window, so you can run through legally, if painfully. Continue running off the edge.

The enemies won't pursue Lara too far, but the gunman will continue firing, so don't linger. Move to the far left corner of the ledge at water level. Quickly and carefully line up a running jump, aiming just to the left of the whirring propeller. Hop back...

...run, jump, and grab the edge of the wing. (Lara may take a little damage from the propeller, but as long as you grab far enough to the left, she'll survive.)

Then quickly pull up...

...and run across the top of the plane onto the black tile.

Fall through this trapdoor and reclaim your PISTOLS (1)...

...unlocking the "Don't Even Need to Wet My Feet" achievement/trophy in the process.
DARK MODE: I plan to add optional dark mode for these pages, but my current priority is updating the walkthroughs. Meanwhile, may I suggest a reputable dark mode browser extension, such as Dark Reader? (Download only from trusted sites, like darkreader.org or your browser's official add-on/extension site.)
