DARK MODE?

Diving Area - Secret #3 (Gold Dragon) and Level Exit

Tomb Raider II Remastered screenshot
After using the RED PASS CARD and getting the pickups in the room with DEEP POOL AND MINI-SUB, as shown in the last section, exit through the doorway opposite the one where you came in.

Follow this hallway to a metal door that doesn't open. Drop into the passageway on the left and follow it to the end.

There are no branching passages so you can't get lost. As you slog along through the shallow water, you'll overhear Bartoli and one of his minions interrogating someone. (Enable Subtitles in the Sound menu if you're having trouble making out the words.)

Enter the next room and take out the 2 armed guards (33-34) from the catwalk as they come up the stairs.

NOTE: It's possible to reach the ledge above the bottom of the stairs by taking a carefully angled running jump-and-grab from the walkway near the entrance (screenshot), but there's nothing inside. Bartoli appears there in the next cutscene.

If you want the last secret, do not approach the monk lying on the floor yet. Either make your way down the stairs or turn around, hang from the edge, and drop down on the far left, away from the monk. Enter the small room with the barred windows.

Here you'll find SECRET #3, the Gold Dragon (35), along with a bonus of 4 sets of Uzi clips (36-39) if you've found all three secrets.

If you found all secrets in both the OFFSHORE RIG and DIVING AREA levels, the "Codex of Bartoli" achievement/trophy will unlock here. Approach the monk to end the level.

DARK MODE: I plan to add optional dark mode for these pages, but my current priority is updating the walkthroughs. Meanwhile, may I suggest a reputable dark mode browser extension, such as Dark Reader? (Download only from trusted sites, like darkreader.org or your browser's official add-on/extension site.)
