The BACK DOOR, which you just opened in the previous section, is high above water level. So you can't climb in from below. You'll have to take a roundabout route.

There are two possibilities: One involves acrobatics and block pushing. But we'll take a shortcut and unlock an achievement/trophy in the process. "Pollen Allergy" requires that you don't move the flower block (i.e., the movable block on the upper level of the ENTRANCE HALL).

To reach the balcony without moving the block, stand under the climbable wall with the horizontal slats, located between the front doors and the balcony, and jump straight up to grab it. If you're having trouble, position Lara on or just before the seam between the floor tiles below the spot you want to grab. Then hold Action + Jump and she'll gradually hop her way forward until she's able to grab.

Now use the climbable wall to reach the high doorway leading out onto a balcony above the canal.

Ready weapons and step outside. A sniper (13) starts taking potshots from the balcony on the right. Kill him. You can't reach his balcony from here, but we'll soon make our way around through the building.

Turn around and move to the end of the balcony with no railing. If you look down the canal to the left, you'll see where you're headed.

Start by taking a running jump onto the red awning on the other side of the canal. Slide back, grab the edge, and hang on.

Traverse to the left end of the awning.

Pull up and immediately press Jump to backflip onto the balcony behind you.

Take a running jump from this balcony to grab the small wooden platform jutting out of the wall ahead. Pull up. Then jump to the red awning on the other side of the canal, which is flat enough to stand on.

Turn around, walk to the lower edge, and take a standing jump into the doorway below, holding Action so Lara sails into the opening. (If you don't hold Action, she'll bang her head and fall into the canal. Then you'll have to reload or swim back around to the front door and try the whole sequence again.)

As soon as you enter, 2 Dobermans (14-15) rush down the dark stairway, so ready weapons and take care of them.
DARK MODE: I plan to add optional dark mode for these pages, but my current priority is updating the walkthroughs. Meanwhile, may I suggest a reputable dark mode browser extension, such as Dark Reader? (Download only from trusted sites, like darkreader.org or your browser's official add-on/extension site.)
