Advance just to the point where the path splits. Turn left, grab onto the wall, and climb up once.

Traverse along the ledge to the right and pull up next to the SPEAR. Lara automatically picks it up.

Break the vase in the dark area to the right to obtain an EMERALD (10/19). Then move along the top of the ledge, over a section of cracked floor, to the right end, where you can then drop down to the walkway below.

NOTE: You could also do this sequence in reverse. Climb up onto the walkway first, walk to the right to get the spear, drop and hang from the edge, shimmy left and then drop to the walkway. Either way, you'll only have to pass over the cracked area once.

Step out into the middle of the walkway. Now notice how the nearest snake begins to flash white. This means Lara can target it with the SPEAR. Each spear can only be thrown once and only at an enemy along a straight line of sight.

In this case, the middle snake is the one you need to eliminate, so tap/click on it and Lara will throw the spear to kill it. (If you're playing with a controller rather than on a touchscreen, hold Y/Triangle and move the left stick toward the snake to throw the spear at it.) Now you no longer have to worry about approaching the snake head on.

Move forward, drop onto the ledge below, climb over to the right, and then climb up alongside the snake sitting on the right fork of the path.

As long as you pull up alongside it, Lara will automatically shoot the snake before it can bite her.

Now step to the right to retrieve another SPEAR. Then move back one space to the left.

This puts Lara in a straight line with the remaining snake. Tap/click it to kill it with the spear (or if using a controller, hold the button indicated and move the left stick toward the snake to kill it).

Now you can move around to the lighted doorway without any trouble. Be sure to smash the vase (shown in the first three screenshots above) to get the 10th EMERALD if you didn't do so before.

As you enter the next area, the doorway collapses behind you. Drop down onto the lower ledge to kill the snake there. Break the vase to retrieve an EMERALD (11/19). Then move to the right to pick up another SPEAR.

Climb up to the level with the 4 snakes.

You only have one spear, and there are 4 enemies, so choose your target wisely. If you like, you can move to the right to shoot the nearest snake, or just ignore him since he's not in your way.

Tap/click the snake in the left corner to kill it with the spear. (Again, if you're playing with a controller, follow the on-screen prompt: hold the button indicated and flick the left stick toward the snake to throw the spear at it.)

Then move to the right, passing over one section of cracked floor, to sneak up on the snake in the right corner and shoot it. Smash the vase on the rocky ledge to the far right to get another fragment of the THE TWIN SNAKES relic (6/10). Then continue along the path to approach the last snake from behind. Once Lara has killed it, proceed through the doorway.

In the next small, dark room, there are 4 more snakes. Step forward and grab the SPEAR.

Move to the right. Then tap/click the rightmost snake in the group to kill it with the spear.

Now you can advance along the right wall and Lara will shoot the snake in the upper corner when she reaches it. After that, move to the left to kill the third snake, and either move toward the last snake to kill it or just proceed to the exit.

In the next area, smash the vase hidden among the bushes in the foreground to get another EMERALD (12/19). Then move to the right to pick up the SPEAR.

Again, you have many possible targets but only one spear, so you need to plan your approach. Start by moving forward then right to kill the single snake off on its own. No need to use the spear for this.

Step once to the right then use the spear to kill the second snake from the left (the middle one in the line of three).

Now you can move around the room clockwise, starting with the snake on the left and killing the remaining snakes in turn.

This clears the way so you can climb the ledges to the exit.
