Bio-Research Facility - Flooded Tunnel to Room with Pool and Ornate Walkways
After dropping through the trapdoor in the bottom of the incubation tank, as shown in the previous section, Lara lands in a pool of green, slimy water. Climb out and follow the passage...
...to a slope above another pool. Stand at the center of the ramp where there's a strip of decorative grating on the floor. Step off and slide forward, jumping at the end of the slope to grab the ladder ahead. Climb up and take the small medipack (10). Proceed through the door.
NOTE: If you miss the ladder and splash down in the pool, I recommend reloading so you don't miss the medipack. If you don't have a convenient save and/or don't care about 100% completion, follow the alternate route below.
Follow the steamy passageway...
...climb the stairs, and go through another door.
Avoid the Leviathan (not killed), a huge fishlike mutant living in the pool. (In the classic game on PC, it wouldn't harm Lara, but in the remaster it absolutely will.) There's also a hazmat-suited guard (12) on patrol here. If you come through the door beyond the steamy passageway, he'll probably be just below you. Kill him quickly. (If Lara aims at the mutant instead of the man, press Roll to switch targets.)

Alternatively, if you miss grabbing the ladder after sliding down the ramp, you'll splash down in the pool below. Unless you reload, you'll miss the medipack above. But if you don't care about that, swim through the hole in the grating into the next room.
Watch out for the aquatic mutant in the pool and the guard (12) on patrol above. Climb out of the water quickly and take out the guard. I had better luck with the middle ladder.
The guard often stands directly above the ladder on the right.
So you'll need to move quickly and take him out. (If Lara aims at the Leviathan instead of the man, press Roll to switch targets.)
The door on the upper level does not open from this side, so you won't be able to get the small medipack you missed.
