Labyrinth - "Amaze Runner" Achievement/Trophy and Level Exit
After obtaining the third secret and climbing to the top of the THREE-FACE STAIRWELL, as shown in the previous section, quick-save before sliding down the ramp. You'll need to get through the next area in 25 seconds or less for the "Amaze Runner" achievement/trophy, and you'll probably want to do a few test runs to learn the route.
NOTE: If you don't care about achievements, you can take your time here. The main walkthrough includes an overview of this area and a few tips.
Slide down the first ramp to start the timer. Continue running through the twisting passageway, first left...
...then right...
...to reach the maze entrance.
Run forward and jump over the first hole in the floor, as the monster emerges from the passageway on the left.
NOTES: This passage is U-shaped, so the monster can come out at either end. It can't jump over the pits, but the connecting passageways allow it to pursue Lara all the way to the end of the maze. Fortunately, the creature is not very fast, so you can outrun it if you don't hesitate. Also, the camera shifts to an overhead view here. Press Look to reorient if you like.
Just beyond the first hole, turn right.
...then left. (No choice here, just follow the passageway.) Ignore the side passages and jump over a second hole.
Run forward to the wall then turn left.
Keep running and jump over a third hole.
Beyond this hole, take the first left.
Jump over a fourth hole. Run forward to the wall. Turn right...
...then left. Slide down the ramp into the room at the end of the maze.
Lara is safe here, and if you made it within 25 seconds, the achievement/trophy pops on the way down.
At the bottom of the ramp at the end of the MAZE is a SMALL ROOM WITH COFFINS AND STARS ON THE CEILING. (You may have glimpsed it through the beams before dropping into the pool at the bottom of the RAM-HELMET STAIRWELL.) Pick up the large medipack (11) (163/239) in the depression on the floor. Approach the open coffin.
