After obtaining SECRET #3, as shown in the previous section, climb back up to the doorway and save again if you like. Stand in the doorway, turn a little to the left, and step off the edge...

...to land in the middle of the slope below. Slide down the ramp and hold Action.

If Lara is in the middle of the ramp, she will grab the next pole.

If not, she'll land on the ledge below. (If you don't hold Action, or if you slide down facing uphill, she'll fall to her death.)

If Lara does grab the pole, climb down a little and backflip onto one of the flat ledges with the items (not the sloping ledges on the other two sides).

Take the Uzi clips and small medipack.

Then slide down the pole or safety drop to the ledge below.

A bat flies in from the southwest corner. Shoot it before it reaches you. Then take a running jump to the L-shaped corner ledge. Climb the stairs here.

Continue past the burning torch.

When you reach the room at the top of the stairs, kill 2 jackals that emerge from hiding.

Go into the alcove and pull the senet piece out into the middle of the room. (Veteran raiders should note that Lara can now do continuous pulling if you hold the Action button.)

When you've pulled it as far as it will go, it will be positioned between the 2 huge hammers. Now use the lever to work the hammers...

...smashing the game piece...

...so you can get the CARTOUCHE PIECE inside.
