The Mountain Temple – Combat in the Temple Courtyard (part 2)

If you killed 2 men in that first encounter, there will only be one enemy here in the northeast corner of the courtyard (the one shown above on the left). If you only killed one of the first two guys, there will be 2 men here. Watch their movements. The one on the left climbs the stairs to the gate. The other moves up the hill to the right of the gate then comes back down again.

When he stops to take a drink at the pool just below your position. Move out onto the ledge until you see the Melee icon.

Then press the button to give him a taste of the old "Death from Above."

Fade back into the vine-covered wall.

You can probably headshot the cultist at the top of the stairs from there.

If you killed the first two men with the chained takedown or double headshot, and there's just one man left on the stairs, wait for him to climb to the top. Then shoot an arrow into the wall just below where he's standing.

This should get his attention. You'll see an exclamation-mark icon above his head showing he has been alerted.

When he peers over the side of the ledge, shoot another arrow into the ground below and to the right of the stairs.

He should then make his way down the stairs and around to the right in order to investigate. Stay hidden behind the block and watch him.

When he starts up the muddy slope, hop down off the ledge, sneak up behind him, and press Melee for a stealth takedown.

Now the only enemies remaining should be the 2 men on the center platform with the sparring dummy. That's a perfectly fair fight if you want to attack them out in the open. But if you want to keep up your stealth streak, climb back onto the eastern ledge.

Grab the ceramic jar sitting on the wall and hold Alt Fire to craft a smoke bomb using fat from your inventory.

Walk across the narrow wooden beam to the top of the column overlooking the sparring platform.

Tweedledee and Tweedledum don't notice a thing. So aim the bomb somewhere between them and toss it down.

You should already see the melee icon above one of these enemies.

Press the button to leap down and stab him.

Then quickly locate the other man and melee kill him as well. Survival Instinct should help you spot him if the smoke is too thick.
