Cold Darkness Awakened DLC - Documents 5 – 8

Refer to the annotated area map to find the general location of each document. If you've already located the Archivist Map, you can also use Survival Instinct to zero in on each one.

Document (5/8), The Loose Thread from the Contingency Plans series, is located just south of the Archivist Map.

Climb up the yellow ladder and jump onto the catwalk to the left. Then continue to the left.

Jump to the branch and climb up the tree.

When you reach the top branch, turn around.

Then jump to the small ladder on the building ahead. Climb up and head to the left...

...and you'll find the document sitting on a crate.

Xbox 360 users might find Lara won't grab the ladder. Should that happen to you, your best bet is to make sure you get this document right after disabling the South Tower.

From the tower roof, mount a zipline with a rope arrow on the right end of the platform. When you get near the end of the zipline, press B/C to manually drop to the platform below, otherwise Lara will proceed and slide down a second rope towards the ground.

Head to the left side of the roof and drop to the lower walkway to find the document.

Document (6/8), Old Mistakes from the Contingency Plans series, is in one of the small shacks in the southwest corner of the area. As with the other documents, it's marked on the map.

The document is just casually sitting around in a dark corner of this abandoned shack.

Document (7/8), One Last Experiment from the Red Science series, is in one of the small shacks in the southwest corner of the area.

Make your way to the top floor of the house by scrambling up the ledges.

Jump across the gap in the floor.

Make a hairpin turn left, then climb through the opening on the roof near the box of supplies...

...to find the document.

Document (8/8), The Operative from the Red Science series is between the West Tower and the Central Core.

From the West Tower entrance, drop into the pit, using the snow-covered pipes to break your fall. Run forward through the hole in the wall in the corner.

Follow the tunnel.

Halfway through, you'll spot the document on a small niche on the right side. Continue through the passageway to reach the ground level of the Central Core.
