Temple Ruins - Crossing the Piranha-Infested Pool

Face the pool and move around to the right side of the big tree. This pool is infested with piranhas. So try and avoid the deeper water if possible.

Instead of swimming, take a running jump across the water to grab the stone platform in the middle of the lake. If necessary, press the left direction button while Lara is in the air so she veers slightly toward the platform, making it easier to grab.

Aim for the right side of the long edge, as shown here.

If you miss any of these jumps and fall in, either reload an earlier save or swim as fast as you can to either bank.

Pull up and get the small medi pack. Then take another running jump to the shallow area on the far side of the pool. Pull the switch in the right corner to open the underwater gate between the submerged ledges. Swim through it and continue until you can surface.
