TOMB RAIDER BOOK BONANZA OFFICIAL CONTEST RULESThis contest was announced on Stella's Tomb Raider Blog on May 1, 2010, and runs through May 29, 2010. Winners will be announced weekly on the same blog. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: This contest is open to entrants worldwide, as long as you are able to receive mail from the United States, and as long as such contests are allowed by local laws. You must be 13 or older to enter. Minors between the ages of 13 and 18 who are selected to win a prize will be required to provide parental consent in order to receive their prizes. HOW TO ENTER: This is an online contest only. Participants may enter by any or all of the following methods:
The contest announcement and weekly blog posts about each phase of the contest provide additional details, including weekly topics and deadlines. You can enter more than once, but please only once per week, per method. Spam and duplicate posts will be deleted and disqualified. Anonymous blog posts are OK, but if you prefer to post anonymously, please email privately to let me know which post is yours. After all, I need to be able to reach you if you win. IMPORTANT: Please do not post your email address, mailing address or other personal information online. I will contact you for details should you win. SELECTION OF WINNERS AND ODDS OF WINNING: Two (2) winners per week, or eight (8) winners in all, will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries for each phase of the contest, as follows:
All winners will be selected at random by me (Stella) using the tools at Random.org. The number of eligible entries received will determine the odds of winning. All decisions are final and no whining will be tolerated. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND ACCEPTANCE: Winners will be notified by email or instant message (depending on the method they used to enter the contest) on or around the dates listed above. If you use a spam filter, please be sure to add tombraiders.net to your whitelist so my message is not accidentally flagged as spam. If any winner does not respond to the notification within 7 days of notification, that winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be chosen. ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS: Each winner's given name, surname initial, state or province (US/Canada only), and country of residence will be announced on my web site and blog. All personal information, such as winners' email and mailing addresses, will be kept confidential. Contest entries are subject to tombraiders.net's usual privacy policy, which is detailed here. MAILING OF PRIZES: All prizes will be dispatched by United States Postal Service within 2 weeks of the close of contest. Time in transit will vary depending on winners' location. Tombraiders.net will pay for all prizes and postage; however, winners are responsible for any import duty fees, VAT, etc., which their local authorities may apply.
