Furnace of the Gods - Trapped Hallway
"We'll Surpass You. And We'll Go Forward" Achievement/Trophy
NOTE: Of course, if you don't care about achievements, you can run carefully past the blade, pausing in each alcove to let the blade pass.
After retrieving the second secret and a few minor pickups, as shown in the last section, you climbed up into this manmade hallway.
For the achievement/trophy "We'll Surpass You. And We'll Go Forward," you must run through the corridor ahead without stopping and without taking damage from the rolling blade. Start by advancing along the right side of the corridor. (No need to run yet.)
Then pause in the doorway where you can see the blade. Save here if you like.
Wait for the blade to approach then roll away. When it passes the far end of the alcove on the left side of the passageway, run out after it and veer into the left alcove.
If you've timed it well, the blade will now be moving back toward you, and you can run out of the alcove...
...into the main corridor as the blade continues past. Curve around to the left again...
...into the doorway at the end of the passageway.
The achievement/trophy should then unlock.
At the end of the corridor, just before you enter the next room, there's another alcove on the right...
...containing a large medi pack (36).
