Solarii Fortress - Corridors Beyond the Throne Room - Part 2

When the guy with the shield approaches, move away from the wall so he can't corner you and use the Dodge Counter or Dodge Kill maneuver to dispatch him, provided you've unlocked one or both of these skills.

Keep a weapon drawn as the enemy approaches. When he lunges toward Lara, continue to hold Aim and press Dodge/Roll while moving to the left or right. (Here I dodge to the right so Lara doesn't get stuck in the corner.)

If you do the move correctly, the Melee icon appears on screen, as shown above. Press Melee in time with the prompt (i.e., wait for the gray circle to to contract into the inner ring and the Melee icon to appear, then press the button).

If you manage to do that, the Dodge Counter icon flashes briefly on screen, as shown above.

Whether or not the Dodge Counter or Dodge Kill skill is used depends on which you've unlocked and how much armor your opponent has. In this case, if you've only unlocked the Dodge Counter skill, Lara will evade the enemy so you can shoot him or finish him with another Melee attack. If you have the Dodge Kill skill, she'll automatically stab him in the neck with an arrow, as shown above. Ouch!
