Salvage Items in TOMB RAIDER

This page shows some of the collectible items you'll find throughout the game. Other, special items include weapons and weapon parts, documents, relics and GPS caches, which are covered in a separate sections. Start with the Controls & Gameplay Tips page for more info.

Stand near a salvage crate and press Interact (E/Square/X) to crack it open with your climbing axe. Opening a salvage crate yields a random number of salvage points, which can later be spent on gear and weapon upgrades.

Stand near a salvage trunk and tap Interact (E/Square/X) repeatedly to pry it open with your climbing axe. These trunks also give you salvage points.

Salvage nets contain salvage crates, but in order to get the crate you must first burn away the net. For low-hanging nets, stand close with a lit torch and hold Interact until the net burns away. Later in the game you'll encounter harder-to-reach nets and will need to use some creativity to set them on fire.
