After using the second lever to extend more ledges, as shown in the previous section, crawl back into the main room.
Run/jump past the undead knight, and pull up onto the lowest ledge, ahead on the left.
Activate walk mode to keep Lara from falling as you climb all the way up to the alcove with the next lever. Here's the sequence: Face the lever room you just came from. Walk to the edge of the first ledge and take a standing jump to the second, then another standing jump to the third. Jump straight up to grab the fourth (at the left end) and pull up.
Without stepping forward first, take a running jump to the fifth ledge. Walk to the far edge, then take a standing jump to grab the sixth ledge. Pull up.
Turn around to face the higher ledges. Jump from the edge of the sixth ledge and grab the seventh; pull up. Step forward and jump straight up to grab the eighth; pull up.
Step forward to the far right edge of the eighth ledge. Then take a series of standing jumps (without grabbing) to the ninth, tenth, and eleventh ledges. Climb into the alcove above. Use the third lever...
...to open the trapdoor in the middle of the room below.
Drop back down onto the eleventh ledge.
Either walk to the edge and take a short hop down to the tenth ledge, or step back from the edge and take a regular standing jump. Use regular standing jumps from the tenth ledge to the ninth, then the eighth.
Move to the far edge. Then safety drop to the seventh ledge, then the fifth, directly below. (No need to jump to the sixth at all.)
Step back from the edge and jump to the fourth ledge. Safety drop off the far edge onto the third ledge, below. Then save the game before dropping to the floor.
If you don't care about achievement/trophies, ignore the knight, run to the open trapdoor, and drop in. (Continue with the next section.)
The achievement/trophy "This is Lara!" involves sending all undead knights into the pits. This is the first of 17 such knights and the only one in this level. Drop to the floor and run to the trapdoor, but take care not to fall in. Wait for the knight to approach. If he doesn't notice Lara right away, run toward him, and lure him back toward the hole. The side near the trapdoor hinge (and the ledges you just came from) seems to work best, since the ground is a little flatter here.
When he's close to the opening, move around behind him...
...and kick him a few times (long press Action) to knock him into the pit.
DARK MODE: I plan to add optional dark mode for these pages, but my current priority is updating the walkthroughs. Meanwhile, may I suggest a reputable dark mode browser extension, such as Dark Reader? (Download only from trusted sites, like darkreader.org or your browser's web store.)
