Now we're headed for the balcony to the left of the CRANE CONTROL ROOM. We'll start from the spot where we picked up the small medipack and unlocked the last two achievements/trophies. (If you miss a jump or you've already dropped down to the floor, check the note in the main walkthrough.)

Continue to avoid the claw as you take a running jump down onto the stack of boxes in the middle of the room.

Depending on where Lara lands, either jump or climb onto the single wooden crate. If possible climb up at the right corner. (For example, if you can land close to the edge of the single red corrugated crate, as shown above, you can then take a standing jump directly onto the wooden crate. Then you don't waste precious time climbing.)

Turn left (so the CONTROL ROOM is on Lara's right) and step back if necessary to set up for the next jump. (If you jumped/climbed onto this crate near the corner, the setup will be quicker.)

Now take a running jump from the wooden crate to the chain-wrapped containers with the white octagons. If you aim for the middle of this stack and don't press Action, Lara should land right at the edge.

You can then take a standing jump up onto the wooden crate ahead...

...then a running jump to grab the edge of the balcony where the railing is missing. Lara is safe here. Pull up.

Follow the walkway around to the right.

Press the red button to open the door. Enter.

Cutscene: Lara overpowers the crane operator and uses the claw to rip out a section of wall in the room below.

Search the cabinets in the control room to find Uzi clips and a small medipack (7-8) (88-89/239). (Briefly admire how they gave the guy a floral-patterned thermos in the remaster. So cute!)

Use the button in the doorway to open the other exit from the CONTROL ROOM. This leads back to the balcony where you started your jumping.

DARK MODE: I plan to add optional dark mode for these pages, but my current priority is updating the walkthroughs. Meanwhile, may I suggest a reputable dark mode browser extension, such as Dark Reader? (Download only from trusted sites, like darkreader.org or your browser's web store.)
