The Ice Palace - Boss Fight: Guardian of the Talion (Safe Spots)

If you prefer not to fight the Talion Guardian out in the open, move to one of these safe spots:

After picking up the items in the cave, run back to the far right corner of the open area, near the ladder.

The Guardian won't approach Lara if she's standing in the shallow depression there.

- OR -

As you exit the Guardian's cave, make a sharp left turn and run back to the snow-covered block near the corner of the ice structure.

Jump from that block up to the corner of the ice ledge.

This is another safe spot.

- OR -

Run around to the right side of the ice structure and climb into the building where you found the Jade Dragon.

You may need to hop down from the doorway a few times to get the boss's attention, but if you quickly climb back up again, he won't be able to reach Lara, and you can shoot him through the wooden door.
