Kuwaq Yaku – Side Mission: Invasive Species (part 3)

Now you can try to use the various cover positions on the upper ledge to take out some of the others, but I found it worked better to return down the stairs, cross the open area...

...and climb the tree in the southwest corner.

There are some healing herbs here, and you can jump over to the fallen tree and sneak into the bushes on this side of the upper area.

There are 4 more enemies here. Even if you don't manage to stealth kill them all, you can at least take out a few so you don't have to fight them all. When nobody's watching, move up against the vine-covered wall of the shack on the left.

Shoot an arrow into one of the nearby walls or crates...

...so one of the mercenaries will come to investigate. If he doesn't come all the way to you, wait for him to look away...

...then shoot another arrow a little closer to you.

Stay hidden as he approaches, make sure he's unobserved (yellow in Survival Instinct), then move in a little closer and press Melee...

...for a stealth takedown. Try and repeat this for one or two of the remaining enemies.

If you manage to kill three of the four with stealth, the last one will stand guarding the prisoners. You can then move out to the right...

...and headshot him before he sees you.

If your cover is blown at any time, switch to the handgun or rifle (2 or 3 on the keyboard, D-Pad Down or Right on the controller) and fight your way out. There are plenty of low walls and boxes you can use for cover. Or drop back down to the lower area and try to hide again. You may be able to pull it off. Unlike in Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara can reacquire stealth by breaking line of sight and finding cover.
