Peruvian Jungle – Last Document and Treasure Chest

After obtaining the LOCK PICK, Fast Travel back to the Plane Wreckage Base Camp. Head southwest toward the edge of the ravine.

When you come to the rope-wrapped post you used to cross the ravine earlier, turn left and continue along the edge of the ravine a little way. Just before the large boulder, turn right...

...and move to the edge. You'll notice a stone lip at the edge indicating you can climb down here.

This is the spot on the map.

Step off the edge and Lara will automatically drop and hang.

Use your axes to climb down the rough wall.

When you reach a tangle of roots and can't go any further, press Drop then immediatly press Interact again to latch onto the wall below.

You'll probalby need to press Interact again to keep Lara from slipping.

Once you've got a good grip, climb then jump to the left to grab the narrow stone ledge.

Traverse to the left until you can pull up into a little cave.

Inside you'll find a document (13/13), Fawcett's Last Letter, from the Expedition Unknown Story, some loose gold ore, and the treasure chest (1/1).

Stand near the chest and hold Interact to open it with the LOCK PICK. Inside is an Artifact, a Silver Mirror (Yucatec Dialect/Day in the Life of a Paititian Story), plus a few random rare resources.

NOTE: This sort of item would normally be classed as a relic, but it is not counted as one of this level's 9 relics or marked as such on the map.
