Shoulder Swap Control in Rise of the Tomb Raider

When she's hiding behind a barrier taller than waist high, like this metal ledge, Lara's view may be obstructed.

If you can't see where you're aiming...

...try the Shoulder Swap (press Shift on the keyboard or click the left stick on the controller) to change the direction in which Lara leans while aiming. This will help you shoot more effectively from cover.

In these three screenshots, Lara hasn't moved; she's just switched the way she's holding her bow using the Shoulder Swap control. This example involves the bow, but it works the same way with other weapons.
