Go around the left side of the tree near the river.
Position Lara between the tree root and the low stone wall near the tree as shown in the screenshot above.
Take a standing jump forward to grab the edge of the wall. Pull up and then, before Lara can slide down the back side of the block. . .
. . .immediately jump and grab the branch above. Pull up and continue with the TREETOPS portion of the walkthrough.
