Tibet on Foot: A Walking Tour with Snapshots (part 2)

This time stand at the right side of the opening and take a running jump to grab the opposite side (see screenshot 4, previous page, red arrow). Pull up and continue to the drawbridge area. Use the key to raise the bridge, climb up and walk across. Make a careful run through the avalanche area and continue forward and to the left. After the blast, go to the edge of the next chasm, jump to the snow on the left, slide back and grab the edge. Traverse across the chasm, pull up and head through the opening back to the bridge area. (See screenshot 5, below.)

Pick up the hut key on the ground near the snowbank and take care of the goon on the snowmobile. In case you missed it in the regular walkthrough, you can find a safe spot on the snow block just to the right of the key. Stand Lara toward the front of this block and the bad guy can drive behind her but not run her over. (See screenshot 6, below.)

Now return to the hut basically the same way you came. Walk to the chasm with the cave opening on the right the snowball area above on the left. This time the gap is too big to jump because the block you'd jump from is lower than the one on the other side. So instead jump to the slope on the right, slide back, grab the edge and traverse to the right until you're above the ice ladder. Climb down, drop to grab the opening below, and proceed to the deep chasm. (See screenshot 7, below.)

Climb up the ice ladder on the opposite side (the reverse of screenshot 2, previous page) and jump to the ramp where the dead leopards are. Continue to the next gap, which you cross again with a simple running jump. Keep going to the next gap and cross this one on the left, using the run-jump-grab combo (the reverse of screenshot 1, previous page).

Continue past the dead leopards and gray blocks, through the open area with the ramps and into the next cave opening. When you reach the low snow ledge, ready weapons to kill the 2 leopards above. Continue back to the hut and use the key to open it.

The next bit of the walkthrough is the same in the original version. It doesn't matter whether you've taken the snowmobile or not. The upshot is use the switch in the hut to open the nearby gate, go through it to the next open area where you'll kill another snowmobiler. Then continue to another deep chasm. Jump and grab the ledge on the left, traverse to the other side, climb down the ladder, avoid the avalanches and take the gold dragon.

Climb back up and continue to another open area where more snowmobilers want to kill Lara. Climb up on the wall on the right to shoot them from safety. Go to the bottom, move the block and enter, kill a sniper below, then climb down to the exit. You CAN drive the snowmobile into the pool and jump to safety. But this is Tibet on Foot, so instead walk over to the right side of the cliff edge. Turn around, drop back and grab the edge, and traverse all the way to the left wall (see screenshot 8, below). Safety-drop to the snow below. Lara will slide to a stop on the ice ledge (see screenshot 9, below). Turn around (so Lara's back is to the pool) and safety-drop again, or take a running jump off the corner of the ice ledge to land in the water. Swim across the pool to the far left side. Enter a small tunnel in the corner. Follow this to the next level.
