Toxic Swamp - Third Gateway Crypt - Ammo Upgrade

Now, if you like, you can go after the AMMO UPGRADE at the end of the narrow spike field. If you're agile, just jump over the gap onto the spikes, staying to either side, run forward, gathering gems as you go, hook around at the end to grab the upgrade and then run back along the other side of the spike field and jump onto the ledge.

Or, if that's too scary, throw a spear into the wall at the end of the spike field.

Run down and jump onto the spear, where it's safe.

Wait for the spikes to retract. Then hop down, snagging the upgrade, run back. . .

. . . and jump across the gap to the start.
